Best Beaches of Zonguldak
1) Iliksu Beach
Located on the coast of Esenköy Mahallesi in the city center of Zonguldak, Ilıksu Beach is 13 kilometers from the city center.
If you are going to the beach with your private car, you can reach the beach by following the Zonguldak – Eregli road for 10 minutes.
You can also go to Ilıksu Beach by taxi from the city center or by using the Esenköy minibuses departing every half an hour from the bus station.
As the name suggests, the sea on Ilıksu Beach, which has warm water, is shallow.
You can wear sea shoes as the beach consists of stones mixed with sand.
There are showers, toilets and changing cabins on the beach. There are restaurants and kiosks on the beach where you can meet your food and beverage needs.

– Entrance to the beach is free. Parking fee is 5 TL.
– You can rent umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach.
2) Kapuz Beach
Kapuz Beach is located in the city center of Zonguldak.
Kapuz Beach, on the coast of Yeşil Mahallesi, is located only 3 kilometers from the city center. Therefore, you can reach the beach on foot, as well as by following Kapuz Street for about 2 kilometers from the beach to the east with your private car.
Kapuz Beach can be quite crowded as it is located in a central location.
There are facilities such as showers, toilets and changing cabins on the beach. There is also a free parking area around the beach.
Kapuz Beach is 180 meters long and 25 meters wide. The beach of the clean beach, where blue and green are together, consists of sand.
You can meet your food and beverage needs from the restaurants and cafes around Kapuz Beach.

3) Erdemir Beach
Erdemir Beach in Göktepe District of Zonguldak’s Ereğli district is 55 kilometers from the city center and 10 kilometers from the district center.
You can reach the beach from Zonguldak city center by following the D010 highway to the west by your private car. You can also reach the beach by taxi from the center of Zonguldak or by the Ereğli minibuses that depart from the bus station every half an hour.
The sea at Erdemir Beach, which is surrounded by lush trees, is clean and smooth. For this reason, the beach is often preferred by families with children.
The beach, which has facilities such as showers, toilets and changing cabins, gets too crowded on weekends.
Since Erdemir Beach, where you can have a picnic with your family in the picnic areas, is operated by the municipality, food and beverage prices are at a reasonable level.

4) Gobu Beach
Göbü Beach, on the coast of Göbü Town of Zonguldak’s Kilimli district, is located 22 kilometers from the city center and 13 kilometers from the city center.
The beach can be reached by a private vehicle via the Zonguldak – Çaycuma road. You can reach Göbü Beach from the city center in 45 minutes by taxi and in approximately one and a half hours by Göbü minibuses.
There are toilets, showers and changing cabins on the beach.
Göbü Beach, an oasis in untouched nature, consists of pebbles mixed with sand.
The buffet and restaurant serving on the beach can be used for food and beverage needs.
There is an open car park and bicycle parking around the beach.
Since there is no sunbed and umbrella rental service at Göbü Beach, we recommend that you take your beach supplies with you.

5) Turkali Beach
Türkali Beach, located in Türkali Town of Zonguldak’s Kilimli district, is 26 kilometers from the city center and 18 kilometers from the district center.
You can reach Türkali Beach on the east coast of the city center by using the Zonguldak – Çaycuma road with your private car.
There is a parking area around the beach where you can park your car. You can also go to the beach by taxi or Kilimli minibus departing from the bus station.
Located away from the crowd, Türkali Beach is a magnificent place where you can enjoy the sea, sand and sun. You can choose Türkali Beach for your picnic and camping activities, as the sea is a bit wavy here compared to other beaches of Zonguldak.
Since there is no facility on the beach, we recommend that you bring the things you will need, such as food, drinks and beach equipment.

6) Değirmenagzi Beach
Değirmenağzı Beach, located in the Fatih District of the Kozlu district of Zonguldak, is 8 kilometers from the city center and 16 kilometers from the district center.
Transportation to the beach near Bülent Ecevit University by private vehicle is made over the D010 highway. You can reach Değirmenağzı Beach by taxi or by taking the Kozlu minibuses departing from the city center.
Değirmenağzı Beach, where green and blue meet, has the characteristics of a bay because it is in a closed position. So the sea is very clean, smooth and shallow. So it is suitable for children and novice swimmers.
Since the beach has a stony structure, we recommend you to wear sea shoes.
There are shower, toilet and changing cabin facilities on the beach. However, since there is no umbrella and sun lounger rental service on the beach, it would be good to take your beach items with you.
Değirmenağzı Beach can be preferred not only for swimming, but also for nature trips, angling and picnics.

– While the pedestrian entrance to the beach is free, if you want to enter by car, you have to pay 5 TL.
– There is no possibility to rent umbrellas and sunbeds on the beach.
7) Kozlu Beach
Kozlu Beach in the Güney District of the Kozlu district of Zonguldak is only 5 kilometers away from the city center. To go to the beach with your private car, you have to follow Milli Egemenlik Street in the west direction. You can also reach the beach by taxi, Kozlu minibuses and public buses.
There are places to swim in Kozlu, which has a long coastline.
You can use the picnic and camping areas on the beach to swim.
However, we recommend that you take your beach supplies with you, as there are no sunbeds and umbrellas available here.
Kozlu also has a long walking lane by the sea where you can walk along the beach. Here you can immortalize the moment with the photos you will take while walking with the beautiful sunset view.

8) Filyos Beach
Filyos Beach in the Filyos District of the Çaycuma district of Zonguldak is 30 kilometers from the city center and 22 kilometers from the district center.
If you want to go to Filyos Beach with your private car from the city center, you can follow the Zonguldak – Çaycuma road. You can also reach the beach from the city center by taxi or by using Çaycuma minibuses.
Filyos, one of the popular beaches of the region, has fine golden sands. The length of Filyos Beach, which is among the greenery, is 3 kilometers and its width varies between 30 and 60 meters.
The sea is clean and shallow at Filyos Beach, where shower, toilet and changing cabin facilities are available. When you get tired of swimming and get hungry, you can take advantage of the kiosks and markets around the beach.
While you are at Filyos Beach, where you can do picnic and camping activities, you can also visit the ancient city of Tios in the region.
